Lina Safar a Ukrainian/Syrian children’s books illustrator, based in USA.

She has illustrated over twenty children’s books and educational publications in multiple languages, and  collaborated with organizations including UNICEF and Mercy Corps creating books to help Syrian refugee and displaced children in the Middle East war-torn region overcome and recover from trauma.

Lina’s mission through her work is to create visual tales that empower children of all backgrounds, believing that art and stories have monumental healing capability.

Books illustrated by Lina has won several international and bilingual children’s book awards.
